Tom flies into Virgin Holidays Dubai Party...Tom was recently chosen as the magician to entertain the entire Virgin Holidays staff at Branson's latest Dubai bash! At the recent Virgin Dubai Bash Tom was asked to perform his contemporary close-up table magic to the staff and directors of Virgin Holidays. The walk round/ strolling and table magic was one of the major attractions of the evening and went down a storm with all the guests left throughly baffled and asking "how the heck did he do that!?"- If only Tom could really do magic, he would be in Dubai all year round!

"We hired Tom Rose as the interactive, mingling magician for the Virgin Holidays Staff Party held in September 2005.

The main reason for choosing him over other similarly skilled acts was that he fitted the bill perfectly in terms of his image, close-up skills and the fact that he was a young and trendy 20 something. We were looking for the antithesis of the traditional magician’s look of “a twirling bow tie pulling rabbits from a top hat”

The average age of our audience was 20-30 and we wanted somebody to sneak up on them – initially everybody thought he was “one of them”, until he showed them a trick or two. They loved him, especially the girls! Putty in his hands so to speak."
